Whipped soap is a soft soap that feels like a cross between soap and shaving cream. It’s a luxurious product to pamper your skin with, and is easy to make at home! We’ve created two different recipes for making whipped soap to show you how.
Our whipped soap recipe uses natural ingredients that are good for the skin, and you can choose to add fragrance or colour. Lavender essential oil is known for its antibacterial properties and rose essential oil is high in vitamins C and E, both of which are great for hydrating the skin. This whipped soap recipe also contains cocoa butter, which is full of phytochemicals that boost blood flow to the skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
To make the whipped soap, start by adding your soap base to a mixing bowl. Mix on a low speed to break up the dense soap base, then increase the speed and mix until your soap is light and fluffy. Add in your scented oils and blend well to incorporate them into the mixture. You can now transfer this to a container and use as a body wash, shaving cream or body scrub!
Alternatively, you can place your whipped soap into a piping bag for a beautiful, frosted look. To do this, lay the soap into a section of clingfilm and fold the ends together tightly to seal it. This helps to get rid of any air pockets and makes it easier for the whipped soap to pipe into your containers.. Whipped Soap UK
