New York’s First Legal Marijuana Store

The first legal marijuana store in New York opened last December, operated by Housing Works, the nation’s largest minority-controlled HIV/AIDS aid organization. The store aims to provide jobs and training for low-income residents in the neighborhood. It also has a partnership with a company that will produce and distribute cannabis products to the shop for a fee, which will help support the nonprofit.

Other legal marijuana stores have already opened in New York City. The first was Smacked LLC, which operates a dispensary in Lower Manhattan. It’s the first licensed adult-use marijuana store in the state operated by someone with a marijuana conviction and is the only one that sells edibles and vape cartridges.

When you visit a marijuana store, you will be asked to show ID or a state-issued medical card and to register as a customer. You’ll also need to pay in cash. Credit cards and debit cards are not allowed because cannabis is still federally illegal.

Once you’ve registered, a budtender will guide you through the products and help you decide what to purchase. You’ll want your budtender to be cordial and patient. With so many different products that can affect people in a variety of ways, it’s important to choose the right one for you. They can help you find the best products for your needs, whether that’s a pain reliever or something to get you high. They can even help you figure out how much you should consume to achieve the desired effect. marijuana store
