About Miles Morales Mask
He may not be as famous as the original New York-based, web slinging hero known by his alter ego Peter Parker, but in his own way, Brooklyn-born, Afro-Latino teenager Miles Morales has a lot to prove. The star of the new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film, he’s a kid who’s got the pressure on to keep his grades up, make sure his friends are okay and to try not to let on that he’s also a superhero.
And so far, he’s doing a pretty good job. The film’s early box office numbers have put it alongside the big live action superhero blockbusters, and according to NPR’s Bob Mondello, much of the film’s success comes from its inclusive casting. That includes the main hero, Shameik Moore, as well as the many other Spider-people who appear in the film, from Black and Asian Spider-women to an Indian version of the character, Pavitr Prabhakar.
Kids can imagine swinging into heart-pounding action in the Spider-Verse with this roleplay toy inspired by the movie! It features light-up eyes and authentic character sounds to help them get in the mood. The flexible band fits most aspiring wall-crawlers ages 5 and up. Miles Morales Mask
