Beauty equipment is the face of your salon and it can make or break it. A lot of people will think that having a personable connection with your customers is the most important, but what good is that if your beauty salon equipment is old and outdated? Others feel that the skill of their staff will speak volumes about their business, but what good are amazing skills if they cannot be backed up by the best in technology such as good salon chairs?
I had a salon when I was first starting out and I was doing really well. I had hundreds of regular customers after only being in the neighborhood for a few short years, and we were the only salon in the area. My customers kept coming back time and time again, and I knew each and every one of them by their first names. They liked the fact that they could come in and know everyone and were being treated well, and most of the customers even knew each other, so it was like when they came to the salon they were among friends. Our beauty equipment I had bought a few years before at another salon, together with our salon chairs, so they were not the most up to date machines. It was all that I could afford at the time, but I guess I had gotten greedy. My salon was starting to make me some really good money so I should have gone out and bought some newer beauty salon equipment. Our stylists were also some of the best in the city, so when our customers came in they knew that they would be having some of the most creative stylists working on them.
After some really good successful years a new salon opened for business just a block from us. I guess they had seen how well my salon was doing so they wanted to get in on the thriving business as well. They had state of the art beauty equipment and some pretty good stylists, not anything like the people that I employed though. After a few months, I had noticed fewer and fewer customers coming in. I also noticed that the newer salon’s business seemed to be getting busier and busier, and I finally figured out why. It is because they had new and not used beauty equipment and salon chairs. When a woman wants her hair done, she wants the best machines to do the job. I wish I knew then what I know now because I would have definitely held on to most of my customers. Équipements de manucure
