Mid Face Lift – Can it Rejuvenate the Middle Third of the Face?

Patients who seek rejuvenation of the face often identify sagging in the middle third of the face as the most distressing aspect of their appearance. The mid face lift is an advanced technique that can improve these problems and produce dramatic results, comparable to a neck lift or traditional facelift. It is especially effective in improving the deep creases between the nose and mouth, called smile lines or nasolabial folds.

While brow lifting effectively corrects the aging effects of the upper face and neck surgery provides dramatic improvement in the nasolabial fold and jowls, the aging changes in the middle of the face have been difficult to resolve with less invasive techniques. The advent of the mid face lift has been one of the most significant technical advancements in facial plastic surgery.

Our study surveyed a representative sample of patients who had undergone midface lift surgery. They were asked to rate their satisfaction with three separate aspects of the surgical result: facial appearance, quality of life and social function.

A majority of respondents were very pleased with their midface lift and reported that it exceeded expectations. The survey also found that patients were very satisfied with their ability to interact with others and feel that they looked younger than they had in the past.

Those interested in a mid face lift should seek the advice of a board certified plastic surgeon. A good surgeon will consider the patient’s facial structure, degree of aging and goals to determine whether this or another procedure is best for them. Mid-Face Lift Price
